How the turns tables! Our seemingly sweet, sophisticated women’s magazine writer Jennifer has had enough. Having been brutally raped multiple times by a gang of four local men, she exacts her revenge, carefully planning so by using what they lack: wits! She lures one into the woods with the promise of sex, knowing he is too stupid to resist, the other and the leader of the gang, into her home to have sex, knowing he is too sex mad to resist, whilst the remaining two, now wise to her exploits, will take it upon themselves to finally get rid of her. However, with two successful kills already behind her and feeling like She-ra, she triumphs once again by tormenting her last living rapists as they did her,

before leaving an axe in one and grinding up the other with a boat propeller.

Not only does I Spit On Your Grave shift in tone with the narrative, but we see a metamorphosis of

some kind with Jennifer, almost as if she sucked up the strength of those four men and blasted it out

two fold in her revenge.
